It has fat tires, a conventional or a step-through frame with an upright riding position, and typically 21-speed or 7-speed gearing for any terrain. Our most popular rental by students and faculty. These bikes have skinny tires and many have a carbon frame and fork and Shimano components with either triple (27- or 30-speed) or compact (18- or 20-speed) cranks for climbing hills. These rentals are specially discounted for the Stanford Summer Session and related programs. All rentals start and end on the first and last day of the Summer Session (June 26th - Aug 17th). If your program has different start and end dates, please mention these dates in the comments during checkout! Guarantee the availability of a rental bike, U-lock, and helmet at Stanford. The Shop is located right in the center of campus in the Tresidder Student Union.
